Great addition to your 58mm kit

Professional Fisheye Cameras Including lenses

Professional Fisheye Cameras Including lenses

I bought this along with the LawMate HD Color Button Screw Covert Camera CMD-BU13. I wasn't expecting much for this price, but the quality of the video from the button camera, and the features in this unit, the video recorder, are exceptional. Highly highly recommended! Ease of use could be better, but this is a unit that is targeted at law enforcement. Just be sure to practice for a few hours before you actually need it. I purchased the supplemental battery pack so I could record for 12+ hours.

One of the reasons that you buy a unit like this is that the video it creates is certified to be accepted by law enforcement. Each frame is marked with a frame count in such a way that the video cannot be tampered with. The unit does record audio but you can turn it off, and I'd recommend doing so because I believe recording audio without consent is illegal. As far as I know video is fine. The screen on this unit could be better, in that you need to view it head on to get the best image. It isn't so good from the side, but most of the time you just need to see that you have your video framed up correctly. You won't be using this unit to view your final video. Just pull out the SDHC card and put it in your computer. It plays perfectly. I'll post a sample to YouTube when I have time!

Summary. This is a pro unit designed for professional use. It's the best I've seen in this price range.

  1. Hey guys, I've just got a quick question needing answered, if I get a Opteka HD² 0.20X Professional Super AF Fisheye Lens, will i need an adapter for it to go on my Fujifilm Finepix S4000, or will it come included with the fisheye?

  2. I have a little Black Sony Point And Shoot Camera (Sony DSC-WX9) Well I don't have the money to get a professional SLR camera with which I could use interchangeable lenses on. Well, I was recently informed of Universal Lenses that can also be used on many point and shoot cameras. Does anyone know of any that could be used on my type of camera? And if possible, include a link and or tell me what type of lens it is (such as is it macro or fisheye ect, ect) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

  4. I am setting up a new skateboard company Access skateboards and will need to film the team. I am looking for a professional filming camera, Ive seen them on skate dvds with what looks like a microphone on top and a handle to hold them also it should be able to have lenses switch eg a fisheye. I need to know a model and brand or either so i can find the right camera.

  5. I just end buying d90 after browsing the comparisson in internet. I don't undestand why people prefer the d90. The noise problem is not good. It just win as a semi pro camera, but lack of function. And for me as beginner, 5100 is more useful.I really regret buying it. Or maybe I just dont understand its benefits. Could someone explain its bnefits? Thanks
