I am very impressed by the author's writing style. Without giving too much away, I thought it was refreshing to have more than just the main character's point of view. Speaking of the main character, as much as I had decided to dislike him (only in the first two chapters), he made me laugh out loud. The supporting cast, especially some of the neighbors were quite endearing and comical. Overall, I would read more about Jack Smith and his misguided but well intentioned escapades.
