After I put my phone in the case I dropped it without a scratch or a mark; the case absorbed the impact just as it should. That was the reason I purchased it and it worked beautifully at protecting an expensive phone. For the price this is a strong and well constructed case.
Someone in a review stated that the skin cover for the usb port broke off and he repaired it with tape. The same happened to me today and I did a quick fix as well. But only having the case for a few days I called Cell-Nerds directly and spoke with James. Once I told James what hapened he told me that a new skin would go out in the mail today. I was ready to buy a skin, if opossible, and he simply volunteered to send a replacement at no cost. THAT is REAL customer service!
Bottom line: It's inexpensive, it fits, it protects and it's backed by great customer service.

I traded the belt clip model for the cheaper model in blue. It works very well.
I got a new phone from work, the Samsung Galaxy S II, to be the first guinea pig to test Android rather than Black Berry. Well, the phone scared me; it was so thin that I was afraid to carry it around like I did the old Blackberry. I got a few case and never really liked any, then I got this one. The phone fits in a hard plastic shell that covers both sides the phone and has a screen protector. It then has a soft rubber case that goes around the hard shell and has port covers. Finally there is a hard protector it clips in to with a belt clip. The phone can clip face in or face out.
BalasHapusI usually keep it in my pocket clip face in, not an issue unless I am wearing jeans as it is rather large.
I have had it for a few weeks and the only issue is the USB port cover has come off; not a big issue for me. Also, at the edges of the screen you have to press a little harder to register. Despite these two minor issues I am giving it a perfect rating since it seems to protects the phone better as well as a more expensive Otter Box case.
Since I already bought a screen protector due to the previous cases not having one, I am actually thinking of cutting out the built in screen protector; looks easy to do with a razor.
The fit is great and doesn't make the phone bulky or heavy. The screen protector works great. Don't have to worry about buying a separate one and deal with the bubbles!

BalasHapusI have had this double defender and belt clip for almost a month now and I love this set up! The holster/clip is one of the best most sturdy units I have ever owned. The price was very reasonable and the protector is a perfect snug fit and it is a perfect unit for my Samsung GSll. The lens protector that is build into the unit is so so as far as clarity and scratches. I may note that I purchased a Zagg invisisheild and have that installed so I have double lens protection and have always had Invisisheild on my phones. I contacted the Nerds Customer service via email and within 30 minutes I was notified a new lens cover was on its way. I received it in 2 days and installed the new lens unit and all is good to go. This is a great product at a great price and a great fit. phone stays in holster and is held snug. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants peace of mind in a protection unit and also you will not break the bank. I was a former Otter Box defender owner and although it is a great product I don't need a tank cover for my phone and the price is no longer in my budgeted phone protection allowance. Give this a try and I know you will be very happy! In closing remember 'You cannot please everyone' I love this unit and I know some may not,
